Built for the ones who can't tell us how they're feeling.
Pet Theory was created around a simple belief: the better we understand our dogs, the better we can care for them. We're bringing together technology, data and veterinary expertise to help dog parents better understand the everyday patterns their dogs can't explain themselves.

It started with a simple question. What if we could understand our dogs better?
We kept coming back to the same gap: dogs give us so many small signals, but most go unnoticed until something is already visibly wrong. We didn't think that was good enough.
That question—what if we could understand our dogs better, every day, not just when something's wrong—became Pet Theory.
Purpose & Perspective
Give dogs a stronger voice in their own health.
To turn everyday health and behavioural patterns into simple, meaningful insights that help people understand and care for their dogs better.
A future where animals are better understood.
To build technology that helps people better understand the health, wellbeing and needs of the animals they love—starting with dogs.
The people behind Pet Theory.
A small, focused team across leadership, veterinary science, hardware and technology, and product design.
Confirmed names, roles, one-line descriptions, and photos for each team member will be presented here.
Founder / Leadership
Guiding the product mission, design principles, and long-term vision.
Veterinary Advisor & Clinical Lead
Ensuring all biological algorithms reflect canine clinical realities.
Hardware & Embedded Systems
Ultra-low power PPG sensing, motion tracking, and silent synchronization.
Product Experience & AI Systems
Translating complex continuous telemetry into warm, glanceable insights.
We're just getting started.
The first Pet Theory collar is only the beginning. Pet Theory is building a long-term platform for understanding animals—not launching a single product.
More Research
Longitudinal canine health studies and continuous baseline science.
Better Technology
Ultra-miniaturized bio-sensors and battery-efficient hardware architectures.
Smarter Insights
Refined neural models that distinguish subtle individual patterns.
Deeper Veterinary Collaboration
Direct clinic integrations and exportable diagnostic summaries.
Future Generations of Pet Theory
Iterative innovations building on real-world owner and vet feedback.
Understanding More Animals
Expanding our multi-sensor understanding across the animal world.

Pet Theory won't stop here.
We're starting with a collar. We're starting with dogs. But our vision goes much further. We want to keep learning, researching and building better ways to understand the animals we love — turning the things they can't tell us into information that helps us care for them better. The first Pet Theory is just the beginning.
